If a professional person works in mental health, or within any field where they have clients like us, if they guilt trip you, or discharge you, because of our wonderful, sometimes annoying traits, like forgetting appointments, not replying, being disorganised, etc. If they dismiss or invalidate us, please know that they are at fault. They are the ones who need to do better.

Our ways are challenging but when we are burnt out, tired, and in Trauma, the Professionals piling blame and shame on us are rather unhelpful, and re-traumatising. It is unprofessional.

We do get things wrong and with understanding, we can try to get better strategies and support. But not when we have been gaslit or guilt-tripped.
