Today I spoke at a Conference for Autistic Therapists. In Nottingham UK.

To keep costs down, last night I stayed in my van on a nearby Campsite.

And at that campsite I dropped the van keys into their loo, fished them out, then discovered the key central locking feature didn't work.

Slept the night with the van unlocked. All was well.

Drove to the Conference this morning with my list of Blog posts to read out. This included the Tittage post. Read the full blog here.

Tittage is such a good word. I'd warned the Attendees of my swearing and I think my words were appreciated.

I looked forward to driving back to the same campsite to unwind. Except the Van wouldn't start. Something to do with the piss damaged key, maybe the immobiliser.

Managed to get it working, it was being temperamental. Got to the campsite. It then wouldnt restart and I blocked the entrance. Some burley chaps helped push me in the van out of the way. And it restarted.

Phew.

Alas no. On my pitch I discovered I couldn't get into the back of the van. No way to access the bed. Locked side door. It was not budging.

Ffs.

So I drove home, late, shattered, but happy that I got to meet a bunch of amazing peers, and got to experience the beauty of such a safe Community.

I was also happy that I got to stand up in front of a wonderful bunch of Autistic Professionals and say the word Tittage.

That might possibly be the highlight of my Professional career.

Although hearing about my peers' phenomenal Autism Research was definitely a close 2nd.

Yay for Conferences.

Can I go to bed now please.
