If I had a magic wand

If I had a magic wand and could make a change for NeuroDivergent folk, what would I do?

I would make all educational settings child-friendly for ALL children and staff.

Schools would make staff welfare as important as education.

Joy and self-awareness would be the priority to make learning natural, interest-based, and child-led.

A growth mindset and collaborative involvement would be the norm.

Children's feedback about staff, the environment and the curriculum would be standard practice and actioned.

Bullying, unkindness to others, and disobedience would be red flags to explore what the child is communicating to us so we can figure out what we adults are getting wrong with them.

Community involvement would be greater if a school's role were to support the next generation in becoming ethical, compassionate humans—not just at special events but every day.

Differences would be lived, taught, shared, experienced, valued and encouraged, emphasising hearts and strengths.

Challenges and difficulties would be supported to find solutions that help us all.

The school would be a family, like a Community Village.

The picture is a wand - a magic wand. Be grateful I chose this picture as Google showed me many types of Magic Wands.
