Blog originally shared in January 2024 on NeuroDiversity University Blog FaceBook Page,

I'm scrolling on Facebook. Saw an app to help ADHD folk complete Tasks with a Body Doubling solution and by breaking down Tasks into easy steps.

Really good, in theory. Changing the Bed.

I loved watching step 1.

Instruction was to clear the bed.

I cleared the bed.

This involved putting my make up bag inside my drawer. It had been on my bed.

As I placed it in the drawer, I looked into the mirror above the drawer and noticed my very pale eyebrows.

I'd not put eyebrow pencil on my eyebrows this morning as I had procrastinated prior to visiting my lovely friend, and being late, I skipped the eyebrow pencil.

I'd put the rest of my make up on because I'd impulsively ordered liquid foundation samples and am trying the varying tiny blobs of foundation each day.

Back to my Blog.

So I've noticed my very pale, non existent eyebrows and decided that now is a good use of time to change my bed AND be colouring my eyebrows.

Because I love the belief I can multitask because as someone who procrastinates, multitasking is me winning at Life.

And this is why I'm sat here on my uncleared (that was step 1) bed, typing a Blog Post about how clever I am to be multi tasking, with Dye on my eyebrows.

I'm wondering when I finish step 1 of changing my bed, how dark my eyebrows will be because aswell as being someone who struggles with Tasks, I'm also time blind.

Ps my eyebrows are stinging. I guessed the instructions for using the Dye. They look dark, like really dark. So I'm taking the Dye off now as I don't know how long it's been on.

As of this moment, the Bed is still unchanged but my eyebrows are fab.
