I'm venting.

When will Schools understand that rules STOP some children learning.

The Schools that are meant to create learning, have rules that stop learning.

Some Schools insist that arbitrary rules must be followed to help children fit in and learn.

Our ND Brains are different. Rules we believe in and understand are helpful.

Rules need to have a real, genuine, purpose driven, thought through process.

It is the same with ethics.

Ethics are subjective. You can follow a rule and the outcome be unethical.

You can break a rule but be ethical. Why is this so difficult to Understand?

ND folk can be brilliant at tearing subjects apart and questioning things, with open minds and open hearts.

We can be fab at seeing flaws in things which is great to avoid mistakes.

We can be creative with solutions.

But rules for rules' sake (unless personally helpful) blocks the brilliance, blocks the flaw-finding and blocks the creativity.

Rant over. Now to recover and cope with stupid rules.

Picture of a Path amongst the Woods. Brown ground, green trees, blue glimmer of sky behind. We have to believe in hope that things will be ok.
