Does this ever really happen to those who are not Adhd?
Wednesday I received an email asking if I'd have a conversation on Radio about Adhd. I said yes. Oxfordshire Greatest Hits. They wanted me to talk that afternoon but I offered a small gap I had Thursday.
Thursday the interviewer asked me 1 question.
"Why do you think that women over 25 are increasingly being diagnosed Adhd".
I hadn't known what the interviewer would ask/want but in true Adhd adrenalin fuelled style I waffled at them for 30 full minutes.
Me, answering that 1 question.
30 full minutes.
All about my special interest subject.
I eventually laughed and asked them to carry on asking their next question.
Apparently, in answering that 1 question, I'd answered all their questions 😂
So after that pause, I gave them another full 15 minutes of all the extra things I felt were important for folk to know. 😂
The interviewer seemed genuinely happy and intrigued and that was that.
Except I wasn't sure what happens next although I did eventually get an email saying the interview will go out Sunday morning.
Then I forgot all about it 😂 until this afternoon (Sunday afternoon).
I've looked and looked and can't find it 😂😂
So I've decided to come on here to tell you this typically Adhd kind of story about a Radio Interview none of us are ever likely to hear.
Seriously. You couldn't make this sh£t up.
Sod's law I thought I was fairly good 😂😂
