So my PA asks me why I'm working on my day off as I fire off lots of work whatsapp messages to her.
Me (sat on my sofa):
"I'm addicted to my phone.
I love my Work.
Transitions are my weakness.
I want to do EVERYTHING (all good stuff) which means I'm overwhelmed so do NOTHING.
Facilitated my Peer Group last night which is a huge adrenalin rush = low spoons next morning.
Nothing forced/fixed in my Diary for this morning so no 'fear of being late' = too chilled 🤣.
On my own (yay, peace) however body doubling is my biggest strategy = struggle to motivate myself to do anything if on my own."
Funny not funny.
Overall though I try to respect my paralysis because whilst it feels like stuckness, it may in fact be my wise body forcing rest.
Being Adhd and Autistic, I am mostly high energy (internally) because I'm in a job I love, I have healthy relationships and am happy/bouncy.
Therefore, rest is needed to counteract the busyness of my Mind.
Maybe I need a Cleaner/Housekeeper/Chef/Gardener rather than strategies to get my arse off this sofa!

Pic description. Me accidently bumping into my lovely, lovely ex-neighbour at a local Art session. We squealed with joy. We are both stood on grass, side by side, holding our artwork. A brown dog is by our feet. We are smiling.
